About the performance

You might have been told as a child that Africa is a land of Dark!

“We come in peace” was what they said.

Inspired by the Mwenemutapa and Zulu warriors, a traveler draws a fictional narrative that shelters their legacy and his own present. Their poetry is rare but simple, the knowledge of his ancestors’ existence is a myth. Traveling through a vast landscape of challenging and demanding conditions, he is faced with an incomplete past. Or rather, a past that is not well written.

  • Directed by: Edivaldo Ernesto
